Introduction to the method of checking the authenticity of imported products:
- Look at the barcode.
- See anti-counterfeiting stickers/anti-counterfeiting labels.
- See Chinese tags.
- Look at the quarantine certificate.
- Inquire about certificates of origin and customs declarations.
In addition to choosing to shop on large-scale e-commerce platforms, the anti-counterfeiting technicians also said that consumers should master some anti-counterfeiting identification knowledge:
- (1) is to read the barcode. The ID card of imported goods is the barcode. Whether it is imported or not can be learned from the origin and other information disclosed by the numbers on the barcode.
- (2) is to see anti-counterfeiting stickers/anti-counterfeiting labels. At present, the imported goods shipped from the bonded area warehouse basically have the anti-counterfeiting QR code affixed to the bonded area warehouse.
- (3) is to see Chinese tags. According to the requirements of relevant Chinese laws and regulations, imported food can only be sold after being affixed with Chinese labels.
- (4) is to look at the quarantine certificate to see if the laser anti-counterfeiting “CIQ” logo is affixed.
- (5) is to query the certificate of origin and customs declaration. Products that cannot provide a certificate of origin are likely to be imitation products or domestic OEM products. The customs declaration form involves commercial secrets, and some merchants generally do not provide them to consumers to view, and some merchants are willing to provide them.
Of course, the most convenient way is to buy from a large and reliable website, so that there is generally no loss.
